Any fear or worry about how others might perceive me, I shut that down immediately. Any worry about a problem that I have been mulling over for days, I stopped with “I have already decicded how to approach/solve this, there is no benefit in spending more time thinking about this”. After a while, you condition your own brain to only serve up constructive things. I still catch myself sometimes when I drift off, but it’s very rare. I kind of liken it to the Owl To Those Who Watch My Life And Gossip About Coming shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this opposite of depression where you amplify that negative cycle and here you don’t necessarily amplify the positive but you train your brain to ignore the needlessly negative, which is then perceived as amplifying the positive. It might sound trickier than it is. All it was is listen to yourself and take control of your mind. I have adopted a zero tolerance policy for BS, even if it comes from myself. Actually especially if it comes from myself

There is no need to fight them or cling to them. They are just thoughts; passing phenomena of the Owl To Those Who Watch My Life And Gossip About Coming shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this mind. They have no power other than that which you give them. Observe them from the place of the witness in your mind, without any attachment or aversion. Exactly! Writing them down like in a journal has really helped me realize how silly some of my negative thoughts are. The more you run from thoughts, the more mental energy you put into them, keeping them there. As others have said, accept that the thoughts are there. They are objects of the mind. They can and will fade in time. It is a good time to look at the emotions those thoughts have stirred up and do the work of sitting through those feelings, which are also temporary, and letting them reach a natural end as well.
