I don’t do it regularly but on nights, I’m so sleep deprived I’m nodding off, you bet your ass I do. I fell asleep holding her a couple of times. Never again. Safe sleep 7 is so much better. I thought I’d be working out again 6 weeks PP. Umm I didn’t realize most small babies only take 30 minute naps. Sooo not happening until she learns to consolidate her sleep. I can’t say I’m happy about being invited since I’m 24 weeks pregnant, and everything I want is to sleep, not attend parties. But I couldn’t say no after my new friend said she doesn’t have many people to celebrate with and other women from our class didn’t agree to come. She moved into our town not long ago, didn’t make many friends, and her relatives live in another state. I have no clue what I could bring as a gift. My friend told me that she already had everything necessary for when the baby will be coming and ended the gift topic by simply saying, “”Bring something cute for the baby.”” I’m happy to bring a gift, but I’m not sure what would be appropriate for a baby girl and what wouldn’t be. I wouldn’t want to get something that won’t be of any use. So I’d love to hear from other women who threw such parties or anyone who has attended a baby shower before. Are there any things that aren’t appropriate as gifts for a baby shower party? I’d really appreciate it if you could share examples of good presents and also unsuccessful ones, so I’d at least know what to avoid buying.
