Corporate Fascism. That’s our future without changes. Companies like Amazon offer convenience, cheapness, and now apparently financial freedom and independence but we have to sell millions of people out to get there and they can turn you off instantly. I know it’s a touchy subject right now but look what our giant monopolies are doing to Russian citizens right now (not taking a side just observing). What if they decide to do that to us? Does anyone else feel like we have slipped into a bad sci-fi movie and it took us too long to realize and now we can’t get out? All?, that wasnt clear) and pays those who do deliveries not enough to actually stay in business and earn a decent living I don’t know why anyone would ever work for Amazon. Everything I read about their employment practices from the warehouse to delivery to office staff is just shit. I’ve never ever heard one good thing about working for them. I feel for these individuals, as I too have gone through the cycles of up’s and downs that come with being a small business owner. I’m not sure how fair it is to place the blame for the financial ruin these people face on Amazon. Why would you personally guarantee hundreds of thousands of dollars of credit for a business that is entirely dependent on having a contract that can be terminated at anytime without any reason…? I think there is a common misconception that people/companies that appear wealthy A) Are wealthy; B) Have “a knack” for making money and; C) Are willing to help good partners make money. People think they’ll make money be working with wealthy clients. Not my experience at all. I have worked with some very affluent companies and individuals and some not very wealthy companies and individuals. The wealth expect all kids of consideration for “the opportunity” to be associated with them. They often have achieved their wealth through inheritance, luck or cutting corners—or their wealth is a con. They have zero interest in helping any one else make money.
