I have tried all of sony, skullcandy, bose, audio technica but nothing feels right to me and i keep going back to sennheiser.

So true. Back in college days, I used to have CX-180 and Sennheiser was just getting popular in Indian market. After 1yr, left side stopped working. I avoided Sony TV cause all their products may be good but they are definitely overpriced and they have rude customer care . Similar experience here. The service guys at Sony are assholes.
