I also saw the Original in April We Wear Blue Heart Autism Awareness Month T-Shirt in contrast I will get this update where OP said he went shirtless and this is also great! My brother-in-law is a very large, very furry man and he don’t give two quacks about showing the world his body when he wants to float down a river in an inflatable tube. They’re all either strangers or friends. Friends will support you. Strangers don’t matter. The end. I see where you’re coming from. No, I don’t think this is really that much of an issue. People go swimming to relax. People might pick up on that being the reason for you wearing the shirt, but we also all pretty much understand that you’re not there to show off for us and it’s more important that you’re comfortable. Like, if anything, it would make me more comfortable having you around because I would feel like you’re just a cool dude that wants to play in the water.

I think of it this way. Let’s say I’m sitting here right now judging you. Do I pay your rent/mortgage? Do I pay for your gas? Food? Employ you? Nope, so my opinion, which you don’t even know if I have one, doesn’t matter. People care far less about you than you realize. When you are in the Original in April We Wear Blue Heart Autism Awareness Month T-Shirt in contrast I will get this pool wearing a tshirt, some lady is wondering if she looks fat in her bathing suit, another lady realized she forgot to shave, a dude is worried about shrinkage, and so on. Yea, if I’m in the pool I’m focused on my kid and not letting her brave little butt drown. I only notice other people to make sure they aren’t endangering her (or she them, she’s not very observant). Heck, most of the time I don’t even have the mental energy to worry how my chubby butt looks. I can hear your exact tone of voice when you said that. Did you also either verbally or mentally sigh? LOL My cousin has one of those kids who is just fearless. I can always tell when she’s gearing up for a story about that kid’s latest shenanigans.
