Two moments from the Original happy Juneteenth Free Ish Since 1865 T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this same trip. First was we happened to be at the Picasso museum on Picasso’s birthday without planning it. They had an extra celebration and passed out adorable macarons. The second was we went to this restaurant for dinner and ended up having a 2+ hour conversation with our waiter about politics and life in Paris vs America. It was a magical trip for many reasons but those two things really stood out to us. I once had early access to the Terracotta Warriors in Xian. Our tour company had access to the interior parking lot, whereas all the other tour buses had to park at the further parking lot and walk about 1/4 mile. We had the place to ourselves before the crowds arrived.

I knew our money would go far in India, but this was otherworldly. Felt like the 1%.
