Racism from North Indians generally doesn’t come from a place of hate, but ignorance. South Indians seem to be hateful tbh. They call us NORTHIE , BIMARU , HINDIWALA , COWBELT , VADAKKAN . Are these terms not racist ? And one of the Original General Hospital 60 years 1963 2023 thank you for the memories shirt Also,I will get this guys above is justifying that VADAKKAN means from north it’s not racist then how the fuck is madrasi racist ? I don’t understand their logic And for them everyone is VADAKKAN including Bengalis . I have a mixed background my mom is Telugu but even we were called VADAKKANS 🤣 Yes and the same people who spew hatred against outsiders go and do the exact same thing in other states and then play the victim card This is the reason why we don’t like these northies. Fucking disrespectful to everyone. Of course not everyone but the most. Although, He shouldn’t have said that. But here People are talking about firing and doing criminal cases or something. Just make him apologize and move on. Not saying that south india vs north india feud isn’t a thing, it’s just that nobody calls ‘Madrasis’ anymore. Sounds like an exaggeration Lol, I get called that daily from people who arent really mean or anything. Even though they know that I am not from Tamil nadu,

Ok, firstly, loud and clear….i don’t like South Indians being called Madrasis one bit….its derogatory, insulting and simply not done. But this needs a little bit of context….much before the Original General Hospital 60 years 1963 2023 thank you for the memories shirt Also,I will get this formation of states on linguistic basis by the Union Government, the Brits ruled India from primarily three locations, Bombay, Calcutta and Madras (please…..don’t jump at me for using tge older names of these cities…). These were referred to as the Presidencies. For some godforsaken reason, all north indians weren’t referred to as Bambaiyas or Clacuttiyas based on whether they hailed from the west or east of the northern parts of India…. Yeah that that is fine. In my society, I live alone. I recently had to go for surgery and still recovering. No one in my society even came and asked me are you alive or dead. I needed an ambulance service but was unable to get so I requested in my society to help. If anyone can drop me by car the distance was less than 3 kms. But no one even responded…I had to take a rickshaw in that state and unfortunately the rickshaw didn’t accept Paytm, go had to detour to an ATM to withdraw cash. I was not even in a state where I could walk. There was a drain pipe from stomach hanging and I was carrying a blood bag to collect the internal bleeding from my surgery thru the drain pipe. I use to feel hungry at night but they didn’t allow any delivery, instead they changed the time of delivery from 12 midnight to 11pm. In case the delivery gets late even if the person arrives at 11pm they won’t allow him, how is this cruelty fine? And calling someone madrasi is not okay? Just cos one is SC you can treat him in an inhuman manner but calling Madrasi is unacceptable? Bangalore you can do better!
