I think high waist is more flattering for the hip to waist ratio you have. You’re like pear shaped. Narrow on the top and wide hips (and I mean that in a great way! I’m sorry, but the first outfit is dreckitude & I’m not a big fan of the second. They’re too plain & too fitted, very middle schooler on church. The third outfit is absolutely everything & I’m obsessed. Play around with different stylings of that jumper. I think wide leg, high waisted pants & tighter fitting tops will work best for your slim hourglass figure! The first outfit was for a Christmas party, I haven’t worn it again since. You and I have very similar body types and we’re close in age. My go to is a tight fitting tank or bodysuit with Levi’s 501 skinny jeans. They’re 100% cotton so they don’t fit like “skinny jeans” they’re a bit more loose and worn in, especially after wearing them a couple times. They fit more like a straight cut, and get even looser over time. They get a little baggy, they look like a boyfriend jean, and that’s what balances the tight fitting top. I wear the top tucked in, and usually add a cropped leather jacket or maybe a long cashmere cardigan, depending on the weather. It really enhances my long legs and small waist. In cold weather I wear them with ankle boots that go over the side bump, like as high as a crew sock. In the summer I wear low block heels or flat sandals. It’s a can’t miss formula.
