We’re next to protected grassland and a farm, so whilst beautiful there are an over abundance of field mice, shrews and those little deer everywhere. I naively allocated part of the On A Dark Desert Highway Cool Wind In My Hair Leopard flower shirt and I love this garden for growing the same wildflowers that grow there, so they tend to venture over to us. The predators are more than welcome to keep things in check! I nearly fell over backwards the first time it happened! Checked I wasn’t mad when I got home and true as nuts, they bark! Vaguely similar story. Used to work night shifts and would walk home at 3am through some farmland. Badger was skulking around near me watching me, i assume they’re quite territorial. Anyway sped up a bit and later on down the path i hear a growl.i think it’s the badger come to bite my legs off, but no glowing eyes anywhere. Turns out it was a tiny little hedgehog curled up. You’d think they’d squeek but no they growl like a dog.

Also frogs scream. Heard these high pitched bleating/screams outside my living room window. I couldn’t even imagine what was making the On A Dark Desert Highway Cool Wind In My Hair Leopard flower shirt and I love this sound – possibly some night bird. Went out to find my cat patting a frog around. What was so astounding besides discovering that it was a frog was just how loud it was! I couldn’t believe such a tiny thing could produce such volume. Brought said cat inside and now I don’t let my cats be outdoor cats. They do have a nice catio (more like an aviary) attached to the back of the house so that they can get some proper fresh air and sunshine though. Get a rifle and deer hunting license, if the deer enters your land its fair game, free venison so long as you can attract them.
