I’d disagree with Tony’s price being ridiculous. It has come down in the Oliver Anthony It’s A Damn Shame What The World’s Gotten To Shirt and by the same token and last year or so and I saw it on offer in Tesco’s and it worked out the same gram for gram as dairy milk. Is Tony’s the Ben and Jerry’s one? It didn’t exist last time I was back so only had it once. Milk chocolate was alright, nothing amazing. I think part of the attraction with Tony’s is that they make more of an effort than big chocolate to buy fair trade cocoa. And I think they’re fairly honest about it too. They admit that there is still work to do and that some of their cocoa is still produced exploitatively despite their efforts. Another thing I’m bad for is eating a multipack of 4 mars bars in one sitting and then questioning whether I really just ate all 4 or not Something really moreish about these ones. It’s easy to eat a lot without feeling like you’ve had a lot of chocolate First time having this flavour, wasn’t a massive fan of the jellies as they got stuck in my teeth but I love Dairy Milk so much I’d probably eat any flavour Cadbury produce. I recall seeing a TV documentary about the mondelez acquisition. They interviewed a bloke on the product management side who have been let go shortly after. He said how he completely disagreed with the dairy milk brand being combined with all these other things. If my memory serves me correctly, he even scornfully held up some of the new packaging as if to show the bastardization in real life. I hate to say that I think the chap was wrong, and mondelez was right.

But I’ll never forgive mondelez for ruining dairy milk which should’ve been their flagship line. Kids born today will never know what proper dairy milk tastes like, and that makes me sad They’re so good, I don’t blame you. I’ve had to take several with me to my friend’s in Sweden as they don’t have them, and when I brought one with me in the Oliver Anthony It’s A Damn Shame What The World’s Gotten To Shirt and by the same token and past they loved it so much haha. I love this chocolate. If you described the list of things on it on paper to me I’d think……nah. But it tastes amazing. 11am? That’s incredible restraint. I spent the 2020 lockdown inhaling one of these (or a Milka) at 8am every day when the local Nisa opened. Plus another one at lunchtime. Aww that’s the best bit sucking the chocolate off and then nestling the gummy in your mouth until the flavours gone It’s not morally or ethically wrong, it’s not a health thing, but you should stop at one because you’ll feel nauseous for hours. I am not unfamiliar with making one bar disappear. I’m not normally one to disparage other people’s tastes but I hate popping candy so much. I don’t understand how anyone could like it.
