Edit: I have been told that Andrew Jackson was was the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt and I will buy this Trail of Tears guy. Definitely should not have relied on my memory and slurred Johnson like that. My apologies. Andrew Johnson was not responsible for the Trail of Tears. That was Andrew Jackson, who signed the Indian Removal Act; and Martin Van Buren, who was president when the Trail of Tears actually happened. Johnson is dogshit because he did basically everything he could to fuck up Reconstruction (the period after the Civil War). He tried to veto multiple bills aimed to expand freedmens rights and let former Confederates off with a slap on the wrist. Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan were the two presidents right before the Civil War. Pierce failed to resolve tensions over slavery and in fact made it even worse with the Kansas-Nebraska Act. His administration also drafted the Ostend Manifesto, which suggested to go to war with Spain for Cuba if they didn’t sell it.

Buchanan pushed for the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt and I will buy this Dred Scott decision which is considered one of the stupidest rulings in American history. He all but ignored the sectionalism tensions present hoping it would go away on its own, and did virtually nothing once Southern states started seceding. Buchanan failed to do anything to prevent the Civil War. Pierce enforced the Fugitive Slave Act in the north to return escaped slaves to the south. Johnson was not the President for the Trail of Tears, that was Andrew Jackson. Johnson was Lincoln’s successor who was super weak on holding the south accountable and muddled up Reconstruction From what I remember he insisted on giving a long ass inauguration speech while already sick in cold shitty weather no?

Yup. I remember learning all about him in 4th grade history. Being from Virginia, we had to learn about all of the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt Also,I will get this presidents from Virginia. The accomplishments we listed for Harrison were basically, “he died.” Then the accomplishments we listed for his vice-president John Tyler were, “he was the only US president to later fight for the confederacy.” Also, I learned in high school that Virginians are taught that the Civil War ended in April of 1865 at Appomattox. Apparently everywhere else in the country is taught it ended sometime in May with an actual treaty. Kind of BS that someone as corrupt as Nixon ranks above William Henry Harrison, whose only failure was… dying before he did anything good or bad. Harrison contributed to zero genocides. Nixon unleashed Kissinger on the world. Absolute bullshit to call Harrison a worse president

As governor, Harrison fleeced the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt Also,I will get this Native Americans out of millions of acres of land using questionable or even dirty tactics (such as getting the chiefs drunk before discussing terms) and was pro-slavery, so he wasn’t exactly “our best” either. Nixon had a few beneficial point people like to overlook. He did create the EPA and opening the door of trade to China was probably the better move than having them feed into the USSR. China has become exceptionally Americanized and far more capitalist and and effectively addicted to trade, this limits their authoritarian moves to some degree because they would face serious deflation and loss of markets. USSR. Iran and NK on the other hand are kind of a lost cause and have no incentive to play nice. Trading with China took the fastest growing potential threat and made it dependant on US and EU markets. They grow a lot faster too, but the open markets changed their society to be far more similar to European and Americans, which is probably going to turn out better than harsh sanctions and likely a lot more starvation and potential for war and eventually perhaps the US losing market access to other parts of asian as China and the USSR conspired more.

Description for Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt

Globalism is mostly a generous proposition to developing nations that just makes them grow much faster than they would, even if it just looks like seeking cheap labor from the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt Also,I will get this developed nations perspective. The bigger reality is the only way to get goods to all the developing nations and get into that HUGE consumer base of billions of people is to have things made at low enough wages they get access to the markets. Like if smartphones were made in the USA the market would be much smaller and the tech much less globally dominate because 70% of the world would not be affording them. That also means you can sell as many and that means less economics of scale and that means less cycles of innovation AND THAT means slower progress for everybody.
Opening up China to trade was the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt Also,I will get this right call, perhaps being lazy enough to get quite this reliant on them wasn’t smart, but the premise of winning them over with a western standard of living is probably a solid strategy that does appear to work when dictators or religious zealots don’t make it impossible, in which cases their standards of living go up much slower or even go down. Globalism is mostly a generous proposition to developing nations that just makes them grow much faster than they would, even if it just looks like seeking cheap labor from the developed nations perspective. Are you saying that globalism is a net good for developing nations? Are you talking solely economically for the state as a whole, or for the people living there? And is that all the people or just the rich ones? The rich people always have an outsized benefit compared to poor people. But the poor benefit as well. Look at the growing middle-class in both China and India. Could it be better? Absolutely. But it’s still a net positive.
Globalism is a mixed bag. Some countries used it to raise everyone’s quality of life. Some countries used it to make the Ohio Stripes Football Hooded shirt Also,I will get this well connected rich and maintain their grip on power. The west collectively gave 0 shits about which of those happened. Want to make your country better? Sure! Want to use the money to buy guns to keep the factory workers effectively enslaved. Where do you want the guns delivered? Give them a few more years before they try and anoint someone as Christ’s Temporal Representative and President for Life. Because Nixon is almost impossible to rank. For every crazy, paranoid Watergate scandal he was in, he also pushed though something that was amazingly beneficial for the country, like the EPA.
