6 months later I ended up impulsively buying a plane ticket and I met her in Melbourne and went travelling with her for 3 months. It was a risky move but ended up being the Oh the weather outside frightful but my dogs since we’ve santa hat xmas shirt Additionally,I will love this best decision of my life! Congratulations on being bold and taking a chance, I hope you two get a chance to get to know each other. Best of luck! Highest respect from me for putting yourself out there. Take those victories man, and I’ll be crossing my fingers that something works itself out. Well done man this is still a great outcome as she’s obviously interested and not just BSing an excuse with her later follow up. Hope it all goes well for you both! Although I am astounded people were suggesting you ask her out before even getting her name (which I presumed you didn’t already know lol) yeah I think she saved him a little by striking up a conversation, the american movies (I assume) style of “hey can I get your number” doesn’t really work here and even if you do and you get the number what do you do then, stop talking? Try to spin up a conversation from there? It’ll be weird. Much more natural to use the chance Saturday night meeting to try to spin up a conversation (which she did) and let it flow naturally from there, which it did. Well this is an overwhelmingly positive start to the day. Nice work OP and I’d say it couldn’t have gone any better considering her current situation. And don’t forget she, SHE!, asked for your number!

We were on the Oh the weather outside frightful but my dogs since we’ve santa hat xmas shirt Additionally,I will love this same train every day, always catching each others eye and shyly smiling. This went on for about a month until he came running after me at Victoria station with his number, I could tell he was super nervous. I didn’t message him as I’d literally just come out of another relationship but the next morning I went up to him and explained that I was really flattered but it wasn’t a good time for me. He was great about it but after that I didn’t see him so much on the train, I kept his number though. Fast forward about 6 months I found myself still thinking about him now and then so decided to message to just see what might happen. We ended up on a date a week or so later and then had a 3 year relationship after that unfortunately didn’t work out but we ended really amicably and are still in touch today (platonically!), and I also struck up a strong friendship with his sister who I see all the time.
