Friend of mine worked with a girl who was a habitual liar. She was told off for turning up late for a shift and replied that she’d got dressed for work but then her horse fell and broke its leg so she had to shoot it. Then she had to get changed, which further delayed her. I had a day off school sick, and when I went back the Official Pittsburgh Steelers Mickey Donald Duck And Goofy Football Team 2024 shirt it is in the first place but next day, my friend asked where I’d been, and I said “I nominated my dad for a Heart of Gold (Esther Rantzen TV show) and he won. I was at pebble mill filming the episode “. Then I forgot all about it until months later – my friend told me she’d watched the whole series but must have missed my dad’s episode! Another time, I’d had a mole removed from my back, which left a long, thin scar just over my kidney. I’d tell anyone who’d listen that I’d donated a kidney for my mum. I went out with a guy who told me he had a flat in Paris. He went on about it for so long, he sublets. Something about a scheme in Paris with tenancy’s held for a long time, you then get paid leave from work in the future etc (no idea if that bit is true) he got the flat through a work contract he had (which I don’t think is true either) I never truuuuly believed it but would give him so many opportunities to get himself out of this ludicrous tale and he never did, kept it going until we ended. Everyone thought it was mad that I never pressed him more on it but honestly I just thought it was so bizarre and quite sad that I thought he was happier living in that lie

I worked with a lad a few years back called Kyri who was always talking absolute shite to make himself seem impressive, a particular favourite revolved around the Official Pittsburgh Steelers Mickey Donald Duck And Goofy Football Team 2024 shirt it is in the first place but “club he used to own in Aya napa ““ can’t remember the ins and outs but it ended with him riding a quad bike down a set of steps with a live cobra round his neck. For the rest of the time I worked with the company anytime anyone said anything a bit suspect it was met with “nae bother Kyri” from the rest of the squad I once spent a whole evening as an Australian. That was wild. Dunno how nobody called me out, although we were all very very drunk. Ahh the folly of youth. My old boss was a strange guy who exaggerated and lied about all sorts, he told us he’d won £5k on the lottery but spent it all on a weekend in Amsterdam, turns out that was a lie. He also said he’d won some manager of the year award for the company – someone checked the wbesite/submissions and he wasn’t even nominated. When someone asked him he said it was because he was so popular they didn’t publish his name so the other managers that lost didn’t feel bad…. big fat liar lol In my old local there was a guy who claimed to have had a motorbike accident which tore his lips off, and he had to get them stitched back on again. Only the surgeon stitched them upside down and now he can’t play the saxophone anymore. That’s why he has a beard, to cover the scars.
