She was in emotional distress when i remember correct. she drove with her 2 friends and started crying, lost control over the car,crashed into a pole and got shooted out of the car onto a powerline. she was there for 1h. Imaging being heavily injured, hanging on a powerline only by your broken femur for an hour and now being an amputee just because you don’t want to wear this effing belt. besides all of that: i am not willing to get a ticket with MY name on it for one of my passengers not willing to wear a seatbelt. Every Person is a Load to a car and therefore you need to secure the load to prevent the load and other “loads” rom being damaged during transport or worse.

Unfriending them is a bit extreme and an overreaction..unless you’re looking for an excuse..then go for it..if not, I would stay friends but let them know they can’t ride in your car unless they wear a seat belt because you’re not willing to get a ticket for them..if don’t ride with them if it bothers you. Its just dumb , i dont see any reason for not wearing a seat belt .
