The second he stepped on the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this plane to Russia from Germany after his poisoning, he probably knew he was a dead man. Because some things are worth dying for. He believed in his morals so much he was prepared to trade the rest of his life for it. That’s what “brave” look like. Just like how those who pushed for independence and created the constitution knew they were committing treason but still knew what was right.. Navalny was dead whether or not he returned to Russia. Putin loves to wave around his tiny penis and kill opponents of his in western countries in a power move that says “no where is safe for you.” Remember Sergei and Yulia Skripal (edit: or the pilot defector that just died a day or two ago)? Tiny penis Putin cares little about collateral damage.

Navalny had to know this. If he remained outside of Russia, the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this little man at the Kremlin would stop at nothing to murder him, and if he took out his family by accident, well that just amplifies the message. Imagine Alexei having that conversation with his wife before making the decision to return. I think he knew he’d be a more effective martyr from inside Russia. He knew how Russia treated prisoners and he knew exactly what would happen to him. Russia does a great job of insulating their populace from the truth, especially from outside Russia. Plus, he knew he was not safe anywhere– he would have ‘fallen’ out a window in France or wherever (Russia had just poisoned some exiles in Germany with novichok, it’s clear that Russia stopped caring about appearances).

Instead, he was well-known in Russia, and everyone there knows exactly what happened to him. There’s only so many ways Russia could spin this to their own population. Hence why you start to see the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this cracks in the belief of their populace, like the lady being arrested in the original picture. Putin allowing him to be transfered to Germany was probably a sign to him that he can stay exile. Putin critics just don’t return to Russia when they have been allowed to leave. He had some massive balls on him. He cared about Russian people more than his own wellbeing and probably hated Putin with all his guts Wait why didn’t you like navalny? The only dubious thing ive heard about him is that Nazis (I think?) were involved in some of his protests against Putin, but even that I’m not certain of. Genuine question I can never understand how MAGA idiots ended up enamored with Putin. Even from a 100% surface level perspective, if you want to make America great, you surely have to be against the greatest rival it’s had? How does it make any sense?

Also, a lot of those guys equate “liberal” with “socialism” and thus communism. Trump and Putin represent capitalism to them, Biden and Bernie represent communism. And they’re so scared from the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this post-Cold War scaremongering that letting people have a sex change is communism and therefore the enemy. Old fashioned “morals” are what they strive for. A world where everyonme else had less rights than them, a world where the guy married a woman who knew when to keep her mouth closed (and when to open it), could pump out some kids and raise them on her own while he goes out and makes the money, Trump and Putin represent that world to them. Those guys think equality means giving something up and they fear that too. They always seem afraid that they’re going to lose something by the world progressing. The whole point is to keep everyone else who isn’t a straight white conservative man down so everyone else getting more rights is scary to them.

About this MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt

Thought I’d just remind everyone thatTrump argued in federal court, the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this president is immune from being prosecuted for assassinating a political opponent. And this is one reason Ukrainians no longer wish to be under the influence of Moscow. The US should promote freedom and democracy. When you have a country that wants to be under Democratic values, we should support that especially when they are fighting Russian oppression. Yep it’s a no brainer. This is one of those foreign situations where a Democratic nation is being invaded but an autocratic nation. This is a country where the will of the people is towards self governing principles. Defending that will is easy if you care about principles of self rule governing.
Exactly. Ukraine’s desire for democratic values goes back to 2013 when the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this Maiden Uprising kicked off as a direct result of President Viktor Yanukovych’s sudden decision not to sign the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement and instead chose closer ties to Russia. The people of Ukraine saw their country slide closer to Russia and away from Europe and said absolutely the fuck not. Nah, usually the US overthrows someone – who was elected – for the crime of being to the left of Goebbels and installs a dictatorship. Unwillingness to give Ukraine the help it needs / deserves is a pretty typical instance of American foreign policy. Oh of course the US has installed and backed dictatorships throughout the past. I think most Americans (who are aware of that at least) heavily scorn it. I’m assuming they were thinking more about recent efforts like in Afghanistan and Iraq where we made a huge deal about bringing freedom and democracy and the bungled the nation-building. I think in the long term those ideas would have benefitted the relevant populations, but we did a sloppy job filling the power vacuum of toppled governments with new democratic institutions, and that’s fallen back in places like Afghanistan. Ukraine on the other hand has been moving toward closer ties with Europe and the US for quite some time out of their own will. Its population seems to be strongly in favor of democratic institutions, even if there is still quite some corruption, but they seem intent on improving that. Ukraine’s the best bet we’ve seen in a long time where we can actually use our influence for good and have it stick.
Good thing only a few hundred thousand Iraqis had to die for democracy and freedom, I’m sure their families appreciate the Official MGK DAY Aug 11th, 2024 Cleveland, OH Poster shirt and I will buy this effort at least My respect for the GOP had been waning for a while, but I lost the last shreds of respect when they backed Putin. It’s in direct conflict with their core beliefs (Freedom!), opposing authoritarian rule, and democracy. It’s hard to imagine a bigger sellout. They were the ones saying we should be hawkish and ramp up our military-industrial complex because of the threat from Russia. Then this happens, and part of me is like “man maybe they were right about Russia” and suddenly they don’t want that anymore. The GOP was the party of US hegemony and militarism, but that wing of the party seems all too happy to just roll over for Trump.
