The idea of the Official mega lo mart king of the hill shirt also I will do this roll like this isn’t just to hold the roll in place, it’s to allow it to spin so you can tear off pieces very easily. Like when you need the paper towels because your hands are gunked or wet. It’d be like getting a bunch of those clips to “hermetically” seal bags, but then putting them all in a box you need 2 hands to open. I’ve done something like this before (except much closer the the cardboard roll), it’s so you can tear off a paper towel easily with one hand while you have something spillable in the other and can’t do the quick jerk. I find I pretty much never need the roll to slack much if at all when it comes to paper towels, so I’d rather not have it keep fucking spinning when I’m trying to get a single sheet. Yeah, you can do the downward tear, but that’s about as awkward as the lightning pull to tear a single sheet off one-handed.

Yea this struck me more as calculated than mistaken. I think I’d want to meet OP’s girlfriend for about 20 minutes, and then never again. To be fair to his girlfriend, I have this exact paper towel holder and whoever designed it is most certainly dumb. the Official mega lo mart king of the hill shirt also I will do this design is ludicrous! You see that nub that’s supposed to hold the paper flap so it doesn’t unravel, well that mother fucker is waaay too close to the center of the paper towel tube holder. As a result, if you put it on “properly” you have to impale a new paper towel roll about a third of the way to the center, making said nub useless. To make matters worse once you use a third of the paper towel roll that nub causes paper towels to rip in half when you’re trying to pull more than one sheet off.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
