Because I’m a completely sane and healthy student, I record 1 or 2 videos between 12am-2:30am on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Then edit 1 or 2 videos during Sunday, maybe Saturday, and post. Why do you need to put a video out every 1-2 weeks? Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired. AI is a lot more sophisticated than it used to be, but I wouldn’t want it in any position where human lives are on the Official i Got 99 Problems But My Back Is The Worst T-Shirt it is in the first place but line. Instead the company will likely blame the tech team managing the bot, because the people making these business decisions fundamentally don’t understand how AI works. You can program as many guardrails as you want in, but go look at one of the openAI jail breaking / prompt subreddits. Even though those are people doing it on purpose, you can’t assume a conversation with someone mentally unwell will take a normative path. Therefore, all guardrails will be broken with enough time. It is a stupid decision from a business standpoint, you are guaranteed some percentage of conversations will go awry as you let the AI run and be used. That means fundamentally they’re okay with causing harm to some percentage of users. But they don’t ‘know’ that because 1. they don’t want to know and 2. they really really want to believe technology is just a magic box that reduces human labor cost and averts undesirable conditions like unions forming. So whoever is in charge is clearly blaming the tech team (going by their PR statement), but it’s entirely their fault for thinking they could do this to begin with. They very well may even have known this would happen, but they may have hoped it would have happened much later than now and much less visibly to the public.
