I actually liked a lot of TLJ. Especially Luke’s “I’m so done with this shit” attitude. It was so refreshing and then when he sacrifices himself to save the Octopus California Roots Festival 2024 Shirt besides I will buy this resistance as Obi Wan had once done for him. Oh it was soooo good, I even bought a piece of art depicting the scene. It’s just the dumb decisions they made with Rose and the whole casino part was what spoiled it. I really enjoyed the movie and the actual creativity it brought. A new bomber. Some proper evolutions like the new Walker or a portable Death Star cannon instead of just a recolored tie fighter. It also was extremely visually pleasing. Tbh, I wasn’t a huge fan of rose but also didnt really mind her. My biggest gripe with the movie is holdos whole „I have a plan but I’ll just not tell anyone so it looks like I‘m just wasting our last few hours“ Holy shit yeah. Like the payoff scene was sooo cool but damn if she had just told Oscar Isaac it would’ve been so much easier and the whole Leia becoming superman in space was dumb

The scene looked cool, but I still hold that it ruins the Octopus California Roots Festival 2024 Shirt besides I will buy this rest of Star Wars. Every instance of a huge important ship is now retroactively worse for no one having the idea to strap a hyperdrive to an asteroid and Holdo it. They try to explain that it was a 1 in a million shot as a throwaway line later, but it certainly didn’t look like it in TLJ. But with Leia, nah I liked that. It was great to see her use the force even, or maybe exactly because it wasn’t her being a Jedi but just using it to save herself We’ve seen other force users survive crazy stuff. She wasn’t there for hours and it doesn’t seem to crazy to me Also, I don’t see the issue with her „flying“ She’s not flying in air, which would be weird, she literally just pulls herself towards the ship in a Vakuum. You see Force users push and pull things constantly, pulling herself in space seems honestly rather easy
