Ultimately, Lindsay says she chose Valentine’s Day to make her relationship with Noah public “mostly because it’s the October Girl Pink Skull Breast Cancer Awareness Halloween T-Shirt it is in the first place but day where that post would stand out the least, but also find me at my most mushy.” Meanwhile, other new lovers, like Julia, 23, a journalist, chose to go public on Valentine’s Day both as a deliberate play on the Hallmark-ified quality of the holiday and in an attempt to make the most out of a pretty challenging time to be alive. Julia has sporadically posted pictures of her partner, Reanna, before, but specifically referenced the “boyfriend reveal” in her Valentine’s Day ode.
