What was the Obey _ They Live Shirt it is in the first place but glitch please? I want to give it a go. I once went to an ATM and selected £20 to withdraw. £200 came out. I thought result! Checked my bank balance and it was £200 down. As a part of my redundancy package for an old job I got a lump sum payment. They accidentally paid it twice. While I was no doubt happy to have such a substantial amount of money paid twice, I reported it to my former employer and I didn’t hear back. I then emailed them had an exchange and didn’t hear anything again. I followed it up a few days later with another person who then again went radio silent. Basically each time I was asked was I sure it wasn’t meant to be two payments. I then called up twice and got the Obey _ They Live Shirt it is in the first place but same routine of “Are you sure it wasn’t meant to be this amount in two payments?” Our contracts are clear about how redunancies work and the first payment was the amount someone in my position for how long I worked at the company should be getting, the second payment was double what I should be getting. Anyway since I wanted to keep the money I felt like at this point I had done enough to show I was trying to do the right thing so I sent a final email explaining how after speaking with X,Y, and Z they said I was given amount A over two payments and I’m happy with their explanation. I got a reply saying no problems glad it’s resolved and that was the end of it.
