I’m a professional extra in movies/TV shows and I’ve smoked these a bunch. They’re pretty awful, honestly I’d much prefer regular cigarettes when a scene calls for it and I don’t even smoke. I remember reading about “Cigarette Smoking Man” from the Nurses Love Shenanigans Three Gnomes Nurse St Patricks Day T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this X-Files that the actor was either a ex-smoker or even a non-smoker and that he smoked these all the time. The Smoking Man from The X-Files smoked these and absolutely hated them. I have no sources to cite except my memory of an old interview. Yup this is what we use. I find the smell of them on set pretty rancid – I’d actually prefer the smell of real cigarettes over herbals any day, but you certainly we don’t want anyone getting addicted just because of a role they played so it’s the way to go!

It’s the same reason the food in commercials aren’t really eaten, the Celebs of today are like the “royals” of ancient times, they know better than to do the things the “common” people do. It’s not the nicotine that kills. It’s the smooooookkeee, the smooooookkkkeee. Cancer (it’s the smoke) heart disease (it’s the smoke) respiratory disease (it’s the smooookkee).
