stop spending so much money on legal bs and maybe dont release a jank ass console that always has shitty design flaws every single time I mean, in all reality, don’t they have a point? It’s their software/hardware that is being copied. Emulation is (afaik) more or less allowed, because there’s no profit involved, so Nintendo and others aren’t losing any money from them, but I’m sure you can make a point of it being actually illegal, especially the Not Another Friday Part II Jason Voorhees Shirt so you should to go to store and get this more sophisticated these programs become. Nintendo could even claim that this is damaging their brand, because the emulated games are pretty much always running worse than the originals on the intended hardware, right? The emulator copies neither software nor hardware. It’s different software which allows playing the games played on the console. I dunno, I heavily empathize with Nintendo tbh. If emulators for their older consoles started being sold in like 2008, I don’t think they would have survived the Wii-U. At least in gaming, I think companies need leeway so they have room to innovate without fearing going bankrupt.

No one is selling emulators, when they’re released on steam it’s for free. Also if Nintendo isn’t going to make older games accesible for people who still want to play them then the Not Another Friday Part II Jason Voorhees Shirt so you should to go to store and get this community is invariably going to do it themselves. Ah, well sold/made free either illustrates the point. Having competition for their hardware will make it more difficult to innovate because they will want to take less chances. And that’s bad for gamers. I think they’d probably be better off selling starter development kits or something so people can make hacks/roms legally and then get hosted on an official nintendo marketplace. That resolves the issue of piracy a bit better because at least everything is in house Ah, well sold/made free either illustrates the point. Having competition for their hardware will make it more difficult to innovate because they will want to take less chances. And that’s bad for gamers.
