Saying that, Call of Duty warzone every night with the North Pole University Shirt Apart from…,I will love this lads was absolutely ace. It felt like being a teenager again, finish work, order some food and settle in til the early hours of the morning. I was at my healthiest during lockdown. I just can’t muster up the mental capacity to exercise like that again. I loved it, I would go back to lockdown conditions in a heartbeat. Made us realise that our plans for old age were wrong and we didn’t want to move to a ‘more convienient’ area we were going to stay rural. I don’t really miss anything about the lockdowns and I think it’s a shame that so many of you appreciated this much about them. Personally I was working in a supermarket at the time which was even worse than it had been before due to the sheer craziness of panicked shoppers. The gyms, pubs and restaurants were shut which made the situation worse. The worst part of all though was that you weren’t able to see your friends and family. I don’t care what you say, in my opinion “seeing” people online isn’t anywhere near the same as in person and it didn’t help me at all during lockdown.

Where I was living at the North Pole University Shirt Apart from…,I will love this time there was a lot of community spirit. A cul-de-sac with a good mixture of ages but mostly elderly people. I do miss that. As I am classed as clinically extremely vulnerable, I got the food packages from the Government. They were good actually but I gave them to my elderly neighbours as I have a car and could get around. I feel like everyone had more time for each other then but now people are even more antisocial as a result? There was just less pressure on us then. After 6 yrs living in my flat finally got to know my neighbours as I was wfh in the garden most of the summer. Walking the dog was lovely and quiet with little traffic, people not standing right next to me, masks so no one spoke, taking long lunches and visiting my sister and her kids once a week, overtime for months. I miss a lot. But it changed me as previously I was never home, now I obit go into the office twice a month and prefer to stay home most days Other than walking the dog as going out seems like a hassle. I was able to stay home and work on my own projects at my own pace. I was pretty lonely, but it was much easier to arrange to see people because everyone else was, too. I saved a lot of money, despite being on 80% furlough wages. I remember being a lot more chilled out, having space to breathe and time to think. My time was all about me. I miss the freedom of that.
