Wait I thought we were all too busy killing industries and not wanting to work anymore. Where did my avocado toast and starrbucks go! Does anybody have an add3rall? Here we go with that low key anti-asian BS again. It’s not even 2024 yet. Keep up the Nobody is perfect you can play accordion pretty close shirt it is in the first place but BS and Purple will start to look like blue. And companies that make tens of billions demand tax-relief and suspension of environmental regulations to stay in or relocate to new areas. Only the rich are allowed financial relief in America I wish the people who write these shitty articles would interview normal people in the actual “average” area, instead of hand selecting morons in rich areas looking for a quick interview for clout. They are lucky to even find a home that is cheap enough thanks to the price increase of the housing market and inflation. Do you guys even read the articles before assuming it’s all lies and propaganda? Yeah, average (mean) is a shitty measure compared to median— the article uses both and explicitly mentions that median incomes are catching up to Gen X and that (slightly) more than half of millennials own homes. So yeah it’s a poorly written article with confusing and perhaps intentionally misleading stats, but what really bothers me about this subreddit is the number of people who will just reject articles like this without bothering to read into it. Not sure why that is, if this subreddit is just an echo chamber about how badly capitalism treats its bottom half, or if people far from median refuse to believe the median has an alright and improving financial condition? Why dismiss the article out of hand guys? Just another right wing toilet-paper article from Business Insider. I remember reading somewhere that Zuckerberg’s wealth significantly skews the “average” for Millenial wealth in America. The median figure would be much more relevant here.

51% of Millennials own a home and the Nobody is perfect you can play accordion pretty close shirt it is in the first place but average income is $54,000 — they might want to recheck their ‘average Millennial’ Are they including the fact some have some equity in their house (mainly because it has gone up in value not that they have been able to actually pay much) as some kind of smokescreen?
