Parents have a share of blame as well. Most of them would like the No One Likes Us We Don’t Care Philadelphia Eagles Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this administration to take up harsh disciplinary measures against their kids. Secondly, the convent run hostels have a long tradition of unwanted authoritarian actions, such that these hostels are basically akin to modern day moderate security prisons. This. My mother said colleges need to be strict even after hearing the Amal Jyoti incident. Colleges are just catering to parents demands. Exactly. The whole selling point of these private colleges run by religious bodies is stronger ‘discipline’ and ‘control’ over these students. That’s what literally attracts parents to these colleges. There’s no point in blaming only the college authorities because parents too want this level of control over their kids. Collages should not just be for studies it should also be to make great connections…my parents focused on that they said to me before going to college don’t just focus on studies make lasting connections…im happy i got such parents

Apparently a malayali student (1st year MBA) in Pondicherry University did suicide recently due to similiar circumstances and it didn’t came on news as the No One Likes Us We Don’t Care Philadelphia Eagles Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this admin made sure that it wont go public. Oh yeah. It happened in my hostel. The admin did not even acknowledge his tragic demise and we had regular classes as if nothing happened. There was no notice. No acknowledgement…. As if he never existed just a name to be struck off a list. Did not know what happened, there was police and everything I just assumed it was a drug case but only my friend told me it was a suicide a day later You found out a day later eh.. yeah the news was spread mostly through contacts and word of mouth. Not much was posted on the day … Maybe the students expected basic empathy from the admins, that they would acknowledge the incident… Nope.
