USA politics isn’t about conservatism vs progressivism anymore. It’s about individualism vs collectivism and it’s also about American Christian values vs modern secular values. Wow, you just described family dinners and political discussions perfectly. My sister got college (with a major she later realized was useless) and law school paid for by my parents and thinks poor people need to just try harder, my parents completely agree. She doesn’t realize that if she hadn’t been born wealthy that her useless college degree would have bankrupt her for life. Been there. I only came to terms with the No look shoot evil west classic shirt What’s more,I will buy this fact that I’m not a Republican during the trump presidency. I’m FORTY. It was almost as hard as admitting that I’m not a Christian. I know it doesn’t make sense to people who were raised in normal households, but it’s really hard. It can take time.

And honestly, even most of the No look shoot evil west classic shirt What’s more,I will buy this Republicans I know fall in this category. I know one Faux News “THEY’RE TELLIN’ KIDS THEY’RE TRANS” type, most are at worst Libertarian on social issues – as long as everyone’s consenting adults they don’t care (they just also don’t care about discrimination – not abusive, just neglectful). The Republican party is an unholy alliance of the economically backwards and the socially backwards. And I keep hoping that the Neo-Gnatzis and Kluckers will scare the economic republicans into all voting Libertarian or something (which is at least more stupid than evil, see the cat metaphor). Seriously. What’s the point of being “socially liberal” if you’re still gonna vote for politicians from a party that actively works against the rights of women, minorities and the working class. They’re what I’d like to call closeted conservatives who’ll put on a black square and a rainbow story on Instagram for show, but don’t actually care for any of those demographics, they’re just afraid of being bigots openly. I mean, everyone prioritizes themselves, I get it, just don’t pretend that you actually care about anyone other than yourself.
