People in my industry get sucked in nonstop. It’s so sick. They prey on poor, isolated people. They set up as anything BUT Scientology because they know how tainted they are. They set up as free massage booths, SCHOLARSHIPS, acting gigs. It’s fucked I’ve been watching Aaron at Growing Up in Scientology on YouTube for a while. I was in the No Law Just Vibes Shirt in other words I will buy this same situation but it was my gf. I loved her dearly and kept an open mind. I eventually came to the conclusion that it’s bat shit crazy. At one point I was somewhere with my gf and I got stuck talking to someone that was trying to recruit me. Like others have said, Leah Remini’s show on scientology is very eye opening- not an easy watch but very necessary to keep people like you safe from the brainwashing by exposing Scientology for the predatory organization that it is. Listening to a podcast on their belief system might also help you understand why everyone on here is saying run. In a nutshell: Scientologists aren’t allowed any contact with anyone outside the religion. The church takes all their money and insists its members need to buy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of books and “auditing sessions” in order to reach their version of enlightenment. People who criticize the church and people whove left the church are frequently doxxed and harassed by Scientologists.
