The game (mostly at the No I will not have a nice day the golden girls movie retro shirt in addition I really love this end) is too hard to be fun/creative. You are locked out of using a big portion of gear the game gives you because its not good enough for the average player to find viable. Probably an unpopular one, but game is too big and takes too long to beat. One of my favorite thing about the souls games is they’re 20-30 hour games and you can full clear them in that time frame. Making them great for people without a ton of free time, or people who want to grind out and get good at the bosses. This game takes like 100 hours to beat. I just want to fight the bosses again, but beating this game is such an investment, especially with a full time job. I think the game could’ve been a 60-70 hour game and still been a show in for goty. There would be less repeated bosses as well.

Dark Souls combat doesn’t hold up for the No I will not have a nice day the golden girls movie retro shirt in addition I really love this 80 hours it took for me to complete the game. I would rather have 1 weapon that does 50 things than 50 weapons that do 4 things. The sheer lack of HP, it feels like enemies just tear through it like tissue paper and I’ve got 47 Vigor and the Erdtree talisman. There is too much filler content, empty parts of the maps and repeats. Would have much preferred an elden ring that took the same amount of time to clear as ds3 There is almost zero fun upgrade paths for armour. As a melee player it’s sort of starting gear > radaahns if you want heavy armour. It would be nice having some stronger armour upgrades available past mid game. i can’t find much to do other than murder, shop, or collect things around the map it gets kinda boring to explore after a while performance is kinda bad in my opinion you should be able to go lower on some of the options and generaly better running with less slow downs The staggering animations are to long and I don’t like that I take damage even though I’m locked in a knock back animation unable to dodge. A little more control over the plot. I can’t count the number of times a character was like “if only I had ____” and I was carrying it or could easily get it, but there is no way to give it to them. Then I see the character a couple hours later and they were killed for not having the thing. I mean, very George RR Martin, but still.
