Reminds me of my class in secondary school. Only 3 out of 35 managed to have grades sufficient to go to normal highschool. But the No Better You Than The You That You Are Alessia Cara shirt What’s more,I will buy this admins didn’t give a shit though and saw no problem in seeing 32 pupils fail miserably. Oh and I forgot to specify that it was in France, where academic failure is blamed entirely on the students and never on the system. Not that it must be very different in Texas. ly moved to a four-day week in an effort to increase instruction and student engagement on the days when school is in session, As a former teacher, I’m shocked the principal didn’t just tell them to change the grades. Or that the school didn’t just change them without the teachers. Ie. My High School required us to do a huge year-long project that consisted up of visiting and reviewing colleges, job shadowing 2 various people, and some other post-grad prep. It was amazing how many students waited until the last month/week to start any of it. Quite a few were barred from attending prom because of it and several (including my step brother) couldn’t walk because they hadn’t completed it. That requirement sounds like bullshit. It expects teenagers who don’t have transportation, money, or parental approval, and were never taught how to talk or communicate in a grown up world, to organize time with random adult strangers at private businesses who aren’t obligated to host them.

It benefits kids whose parents coordinate all of it for them and puts stress on kids who have to plan it themselves. That sounds like a college preparatory school… likely private as fuck. Its part of keeping a 95% university bound graduate rate up. You sign up for and literally pay for it. Wait I know Reddits prejudices but legit even if it’s a rural school and had a class of 33 how did 28 fail in our modern shitty school system where people can fail upwards though the No Better You Than The You That You Are Alessia Cara shirt What’s more,I will buy this whole system how did this happen. It should be next to impossible unless these kids failed at multiple levels there is no way it should’ve been this bad. impressive to have only 5 kids graduate when most schools are practically mandated to pass a lot of students who should fail
