You sensing that something bad was happening to someone close to you is surprisingly more common then you think. It happens with family members twins close friends etc. I only recently started experiencing sleep paralysis and it’s genuinely horrifying and I’d always thought the Nicolas Aube Kubel Canadian professional ice hockey right winger the Washington Capitals T-Shirt in other words I will buy this sleep paralysis demon jokes were just jokes. They aren’t. The first time I experienced it I was stuck for what felt like an hour and could only move my eyes. I looked at my bedroom door, which was mostly open and there was this thing there staring at me that could only be described as a demon. It would laugh every now and then and say “I’m going to make my knife your friend”. I didn’t realize what was happening at the time but if I didn’t know sleep paralysis was a thing I think that would have driven me insane. My door stays closed now though

I usually force myself to hyperventilate so I can exit sleep paralysis. It is true you seem to be able to control your eyes only, but you can slowly control breathing. Had it so many times, had to develop a system :p hope it helps When I was in a super abusive relationship, I’d get sleep paralysis pretty often towards the Nicolas Aube Kubel Canadian professional ice hockey right winger the Washington Capitals T-Shirt in other words I will buy this end when the abuse was the worst. I’ve never experienced it outside of that situation, but when I’d get it I was able to eventually remember to try and wiggle a finger or toe. At first it was like I was still dreaming but my dream was happening in my bedroom and I’d realize I was awake and couldn’t move. I’d see spiders or mice crawling everywhere sometimes. It was terrifying because my son would be asleep in his room, and my immediate thought every time was “I cannot get up to grab him if he starts crying” even though I knew it only lasted a minute or two. I wouldn’t wish sleep paralysis on anybody, I was already sleep deprived from the abusive setting but at that point I was scared to try and fall asleep because I knew the sleep paralysis would hit me! Thankfully it has never happened again since the last night my son and I stayed in that house.
