TLDR: Dysfunctional people hide behind “understandable” sticking points like food so they can get their jollies by bullying kids. When we eat, I would give her smaller portions, and if she finishes and wants more, then I would replenish her plate. There are some days when kids will eat a lot, and there are some days when they don’t eat much. > What’s the point? Kids are spanked, yelled at, belittled, and forced to sit at the table all night until they can force down the hours old, cold food.
