Kodak only did as part of their consumer electronics division when it was already too late. They sold one storage card to everyone who bought their camera, and that was it. And they didn’t even manufacture them, they were just a brand.

Another example is Eastman-Kodak. They knew everyone was going to digital but still didn’t want to move off their physical film business. Now they’re trying to sell cryptocurrency. In a similar vein, Polaroid as we once knew it is basically nothing more than a holding company wearing Polaroid’s visage Leatherface-style.
