These are all the reasons you did not have sex with me. And here’s why I will never have sex with you.” Most of the comments were about how she has no right to be surprised, the signs where there for a while, and he clearly was done a while ago and just waiting for the right time. I remember the original post (it’s in r-relationships — can’t share links in comments of this sub), but it’s from the woman’s standpoint. She said she had just left to go out of town, and her husband said he wouldn’t miss her and sent her this spreadsheet. I remember it so well because many comments took his side. And this was back when Reddit was much more women-hating. There was little-to-no consideration for her side of things, more a “You should have sex with him more. If we’re discussing the same story, she was seeking validation after being blindsided, but few were on her side. It wasn’t just Reddit; the internet couldn’t figure out why she would be surprised or why they’d stay together.
