The Mets’ starting rotation is one of the deepest and most versatile in baseball. Ace Jacob deGrom, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, anchors the rotation and is widely considered one of the greatest pitchers of his generation. Max Scherzer, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, provides a formidable 1-2 punch. Chris Bassitt, Taijuan Walker, and David Peterson round out the starting staff, offering a mix of experience, control, and devastating stuff. This rotation has the potential to stifle opposing lineups and keep the Mets in every game.

The Mets’ bullpen is equally impressive, featuring a quartet of elite relievers. Edwin Diaz, the reigning NL Reliever of the Year, returns as the closer, striking fear into hitters with his electrifying fastball. Seth Lugo, Trevor May, and Adam Ottavino provide shutdown relief appearances, giving the Mets the confidence to close out games with ease. The bullpen’s depth and experience will be crucial in preserving victories and securing wins in tight situations.
