I’m more concerned why the New York Jets Marvel Wolverine Deadpool True Friends shirt But I will love this offer letter says accept no later than the 20th but the email says to accept no later than the 23rd. There are a lot of people who would not notice the discrepancy. Kind of stupid, but… well so is everything about hiring. Dude, he made a critical error in not even reading the offer. Severe lack of attention to detail. It’s correctable and good feedback. All that pretending you did nothing wrong does is shut doors on opportunities for improvement.Accept everything, and choose one later by looking at what you accepted and sending sorry, changed my mind emails later. Its not illegal to not start somewhere. But for future reference, you can always take the first job and if any other job says yes (even if it’s a month or two later) you can always resign and work for the new company. Granted you’re probably not going to be hired by that company again and if it’s a niche industry that could hurt your career as well.

But absolute worst thing that can happen is you work there for a year and then start the New York Jets Marvel Wolverine Deadpool True Friends shirt But I will love this job hunt again, it’s very normal nowadays to bounce a job every 1-2 years. I sympathise, but it clearly wasn’t guaranteed if you never accepted it. They could have rescinded the offer at any time for any reason. You can’t catch these people on a technicality because they are under no compulsion to honour the offer at all until a contract is agreed. The email said he had time, OP wasn’t being unreasonable here. It’s normal to weigh your options before commiting to an offer. It would be stupid to immidiately accept a lower paying job if a higher paying one would be making you an offer soon. They did the best with the information they had. There is no lesson here. OP did nothing wrong. This is an error on the part of the hiring company. No need to victim blame.
