I tend to do it because I drink very little, but I tend to order expensive drinks, and I don’t want to just put this on someone else. Then again, I don’t have a normal group of British friends. I’m an expat and my friends are a mix of weird and expats. Haha yeah, I know how it’s done, but I definitely think opting out often either annoys at least some if not most people into it. I did this when saving for a house deposit.. so often I would go to pub and have maybe 2 or 3 drinks big in a group of 8 people you could easily end up paying way more than needed. So I did exactly this for about a year. It meant I know how much I would spend every time. Also you drink at your own speed not the New England Patriots And Boston Bruins Heart It’s In My Dna 2023 Shirt moreover I will buy this fastest drinkers speed. And when your saving money this is usually a much slower speed I really dislike this whole rounds thing. If I want only 2-3 drinks, why should I be buying everyone else drinks? I think it works when it’s just 3-4 of you but not for bigger groups

Everyone has different experiences but I’ve never been in a position where I have ended up buying rounds out of peer pressure. If someone else thinks your style of getting drinks is annoying then they can go f themself, the New England Patriots And Boston Bruins Heart It’s In My Dna 2023 Shirt moreover I will buy this world doesn’t revolve around them. Fair observation – it will definitely annoy some. Watch out for who gets annoyed though – if it’s someone you don’t mind frustrating, go for it. My guess is, it’s probably the one who had no intention of getting a round in at all (which is also the same person who suggested doing it in rounds) but it means you’re not taking advantage of anyone, and that’s what matters. It only annoys those who’ve never been in that situation. The ‘too good to go’ app. You basically can a bundle of food from shops or food stores like Gregg’s that reached the end of its shelf life for dirt cheap.
