They wouldn’t answer, had a screen door and their door was open. Just ignored me with tv blaring and yapping dogs. I don’t get deliveries in US. I’m from Romania, and deliveries are made in person, if I’m not at home they don’t leave the package at the door. It’s standard to be called before the delivery guy arrives. If I tell them I’m not home they come back later or next day. Many delivery companies use confirmation codes sent to the recipient’s phone. When they deliver I have to give the code to get the package. I have had packages delivered to my porch and it’s not mine. I usually would read the address on package and take it to their porch. We live in a trailer home park, so for the most part we get our packages to correct address and I have had my package delivered to wrong porch but they returned it to me. I guess I consider myself fortunate to have neighbors who wouldn’t steal the package even though it was delivered to their porch.
