I think the Neurodiversity Rainbow Flower Colorful Autism Awareness T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this attitude is a bit better now then before vovid.Before covid it was annoying af when ppl would go to work at the worst of their flu runny nose and coughing everywhere making other sick. I face the dilemma therefore after a long, long hibernation- that I believe went a long way to keeping me clear of it- and of being the only one in some of the groups I attend to wear a mask. I also believe we’ve been lulled into a false sense of security, especially when I see the list of todays dead. That’s as in D-E-A-D.. Fact is, of course we need covid like a hole in the head so I think the disease/ virus hasn’t necessarily actually changed/ mutated, but peoples psychological expectations and experiences around it have. Kind of like the old story; if we all BELIEVE the emperor has clothes then IT WILL BE SO. I’m mindful too of the nature of contagion that will change and adapt while it continues its relentless search for fresh victims, whether it does that through mass attitude change ‘whew, it’s safe to go out again’- time to parteee..’) or whether mass inoculation lessens the impact of some symptoms.

I’m fully immunised in spite of which I’m still taking precautions after hearing from friends what a grotty experience having it is as well as first hand watching my partner struggle through it for a week. And one can’t forget the Neurodiversity Rainbow Flower Colorful Autism Awareness T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this very real spectre of long term covid potential even if you come through a bout unscathed. Oh, and if you’re ‘old’ (I’m 70) then of course the risk increases. So I’m sceptical that it obviously suits the economy to believe it’s all over. But again, just because we all believe something doesn’t mean it’s necessarily true. I’m totally prepared for someone to prove me wrong as kong as it’s with FACTS, and SCIENCE, I.e. an evidence-based approach. Happily jabbed and boosted but that’s the extent of it. Of course I’ll wear masks where required and I never broke the rules during our response but after we opened back up I’ve ignored any advice on “staying safe” from Covid. Life is back to normal for me.
