All was fine until one of his army buddies came to visit and went out drinking with us. As the Nathan MacKinnon Colorado Avalanche hockey cartoon shirt and by the same token and evening went on we all started swapping stories when the mate went to the bar or toilets. Was funny as fuck, we all knew he was full of shit anyway but he’d spent years telling us stories about the ‘loser’ that actually turned out to be him. Also Mrs and dog was fabricated. That’s actually a fair point! I think the story was that they had to go into a gas chamber and remove their gas masks for a certain length of time, but this one loser fell to his knees crying and begging his superior to let him out. He used to re-enact it, whilst laughing, and probably thinking we were impressed that he wasn’t a loser like that… 3 months later after he’s started using the favour against me and a bit of tension is rising so I decided to buy a new laptop and be done with it.

1 month later I ask him to borrow it for 5 minutes to possibly retreive a document on there, he told me I couldn’t because he’s wiped it and removed the Nathan MacKinnon Colorado Avalanche hockey cartoon shirt and by the same token and SSD drive and transferred it to his desktop pc. About a year later when we’re a week or two away from moving house, he whips out the laptop and asks me to put in my old windows user password because he can’t remember his anymore, I logged in and everything was exactly the same on the laptop, lo and behold a copy of the document on the desktop. had a guy at work who in his intro to a lot of us declared he was a master gambler and won big on the slots not long back and was only here because he got bored at home The moment I read “master gambler” I thought to myself “that guy’s gonna be begging for money by the end of this anecdote”.
