They are not elected, yet they serve life-time appointments. They are at the My pug is calling and I must go trending shirt moreover I will buy this discretion of the president in office, and therefore could lead to politically motivated decisions. The founding fathers really thought people would do things in good faith in the future, yet the SCOTUS is by far the most influential of the 3. Expand them I say. Make it to where it is always a 50/50 based on political parties. The SCOTUS needs its own check and balance. I agree that the President has a lot of power, but I don’t think expanding the Courts is the answer. I think actually expanding the legislature could be what America needs. In Britain, we are a smaller country but we have 600 members in each house of the legislature as opposed to America’s tiny 100 in each. A bigger house makes for more representative politics that is less about personalities and party celebrities and more about ideas. We also have a supreme legislature. It gets the last word on everything. It trumps the Prime Minister, the Supreme Court, everybody.

I think America could benefit from the My pug is calling and I must go trending shirt moreover I will buy this same. You can’t just expect all-wise, all-benevolent judges to solve everything. You need political solutions to political problems. Look, I think you yanks all have good intentions. Therefore, let me offer an unbiased opinion: the Supreme Court limit should be set to 8 years tenure with everyone who survives that 8 years being burnt to death. This approach offers a balancing element to the “unelected supreme god king” offer currently in place. Instead of knowing that they will rule supreme with 1/9th of the power in the land, each justice should be forced to confront the fact that “they are but mortal” and that in >=7 years they will be burnt alive. Such a motivating factor should remove their inclination towards temporal politics. If they want to bet on eternal life, their bet should be in the foreseeable future… Pointless. The constitution has nothing about term limits, it specifically states judges serve as long as they want to. So term limits would be voluntary, which is the same as not having them.
