Oh! Did you also think No way home was not very good? I was very disappointed by it and thought the My pet my cat T-Shirt in contrast I will get this first 2 were much better. I’m in this camp too. I thought the story of NWH was really weak and that they used nostalgia and spectacle to try and distract from that fact. Blows my mind that some people say it’s the best MCU movie. I guess it worked lol. I liked seeing the other Peter’s but overall I thought it wasn’t a great movie in terms of plot. Especially the ending, felt very “this has to happen because it’s the plot, not because it makes sense” and also “this has to happen because of our contract with Sony”. “this has to happen because it’s the plot, not because it makes sense” and also “this has to happen because of our contract with Sony”.

Made me laugh that Peter could have just stayed at the My pet my cat T-Shirt in contrast I will get this statue of liberty and waited for the spell to be cast and then quickly explain to Strange and his friends what happened lmao It struggled to keep up my interest. I loved Spider-Verse, I thought it did a lot more with a similar concept and this just felt like a cheap copy. It didn’t help that the whole movie felt like it could’ve been avoided if people just sat down and talked for 10 seconds, which is always a frustration. There’s a good chance I’m just burned from Marvel and Endgame might’ve been the point that brought it to a natural conclusion for me. We’ll see though, I’m not prepared to write it all off yet. I just want some fun movies with a bit more invention and soul.
