My wife’s lawyer would write these long pages describing what an awful person I was and my lawyer would basically write back “these are lies” I spent 5000 she spent 40k. if a therapist or psychologist attempts to diagnose a person they have never met it is a form of unofficial malpractice. it is a well known no-no in psychology and if word got out that a person was practicing that way it could destroy their career. it wouldn’t even be defamation to spread that info since she dared to get it on official court records so no liable or defamation lawsuit if you told the news or all of social media. if i were your lawyer i would let her know that you plan on calling her again to the stand and grilling her on why she thinks it is professional to make such claims without meeting you and why she shouldn’t be sued for slander of your character. she then would have to pick between perjury charges or her professional reputation ruined.

I’m from Ontario too and my parents had a messy divorce way back when I was a kid. The judge mandated that I go to therapy once a week for (I can’t remember but it was quite a few times) maybe 2-3 months. It was group therapy and then one on one. And a therapist who’s experienced in custody cases will be able to suss that out.
