My view has completely changed since I thought about it. I FEEL you! I’ve been bigger since I was very young, eventually shamed myself into losing 80 pounds as an adult and hated myself the My Favorite Sister Bought Me This Bigfoot Retro Sunset T-Shirt moreover I love this whole time. Suprise, surprise when I lost all the weight I still felt the same and sometimes even more gross. It’s a mental sickness that started in my family when I was like 8 years old with counting calories. My mom is 79 and every week she tells me how many pounds she’s lost that week. I’m like, GET OVER IT! Who are you losing this for?!? Not being able to be direct. Someone is bothering you at work, and you don’t confront them because “women have to be nice.” Instead, you vent to a friend, which blows off steam but doesn’t improve the situation. Mean girls are an actual thing like I’ve seen them sabotage each other over guys. Yeah I’m so glad I’m not a woman cause I hate competing with other people 🙁 What I mean by “browbeating” is when a person or group of people enforce compliance on another to an arbitrary standard of behaviour through underhanded means, specially shaming tactics, gossiping and talking ill of others behind their backs in general terms.
