Absolutely. To not even check in to see if there are factors before coldly receding the My Favorite Firefighter Calls Me Grandpa Father’s Day Usa flag shirt so you should to go to store and get this offer says that they’ve filled the position with someone else. This is a great response. People on reddit always say someone dodge a bullet or the job is toxic or they should immediately get a divorce. Most times people can’t just up and blow their life up even if they wanted to. Reality includes bills and shit and advice givers on this site tend to forget pesky little things like that Whenever anyone posts a message about a bad experience with a company’s recruiting process, the top comments are always about red flags and dodging bullets. But unless it’s a tiny company, you’ll probably never interact with the person sending you the offer letter after your first few days on the job. There’s a good chance they don’t even work for the company. Assuming your new job will suck because the recruiter is a jerk is wild.

Agree with this 100%. If it’s the My Favorite Firefighter Calls Me Grandpa Father’s Day Usa flag shirt so you should to go to store and get this hiring manager dicking you around like this it’s a red flag for sure but if it’s an HR rep then go find the actual hiring manager and contact them directly. They’ll want to know how incompetent their HR is, as they’ll be losing qualified candidates to this kind of bs and may not be aware, and they’ll get it straightened out if they actually want you to work for them. 1 more replyYep this. Like wtf. And then not even backing down and being like oh my bad… They should at least admit the mistake. I feel for the OP though. It might be a dodged bullet, but there are a hundred more coming if they don’t get the job. I know the feeling, I’m in it right now. We’ll sometimes systems malfunction and don’t mean the company is awful in other aspects. Op seems to be partially at fault here. Almost sounds like a company where the upper management won’t hesitate to throw underlings for the upper mgmt’s mistakes. Ehh. At my current job my offer letter came later than it was supposed to. My onboarding was also delayed and I started 2 weeks later than I was supposed to as well. I wasn’t too worried though as two separate people during my interview mentioned (unprovoked) that their HR department was terrible. Turns out that the 30000 person megacorp that I work for outsources their HR to some incompetent HR agency. My 300 person location has no control over what company we outsource our HR department to so everyone at our location just has to go along with the flow. This is the best job and the best paying job that I’ve ever had. id rather have a shitty job than no job. at least while you work at the crap place you can get paid while you continue your search for better employment.
