Dating women has been incredibly stress inducing for me most of my life. I don’t know why. The few times I have I can only describe it as a wonderful drug with horrible side effects. The side effects are worse for me then the Music is my drug and pat metheny is my dealer vintage shirt also I will do this benefits, so I just sort of gave up. I really appreciate being alone more than anything. By my mid 40s all the pressure I felt melted away. I no longer feel like something is wrong with me, or needs to be fixed. All that matters is that family see me relatively happy and well. I’m just different and it took me a long time to be ok with it. I’m 30, and not doing so well. Trying to pick myself back up after a situationship ended recently and its been difficult. In the last 5 years I’ve really tried to put myself out there and date but it’s either just been casual situations that go nowhere or situations where feelings are there but the other party is terrified of commitment and it ends when they get scared. It’s getting quite soul destroying tbh. I’m not single but I am your age and I’ve been with my partner for just over ten years but we don’t have a conventional relationship that everyone else has. We don’t live together, we have our own places. We spend around 4 days a week together at each others places but we have at least 3 days away from each other on our own in our own places and our relationship rocks because of it.

Seriously it’s the Music is my drug and pat metheny is my dealer vintage shirt also I will do this best. I lived with my last 2 serious partners and we’d end up arguing about the most mundane bullshit, bills, cleaning, WHERE DID YOU PUT THE FUCKING CAN OPENER?!.. The usual bullshit. Our situation is the opposite of the norm but it works for us. The days I’m on my own, I game. ( PC, Nintendo switch, PST Not perpetually single but I feel like I will be. I was married but now I’m recently divorced. My ex husband had an affair so I just don’t trust men’s intentions right now (yay baggage!) I also looked at the dating apps but it’s so unnatural.. I haven’t brought myself to talk to anyone on there. I want someone honest and kind and funny.. Seems impossible to find that on the apps where it’s so superficial. That sucks, sorry to hear it. I’m still scarred from an ex I lived with in my 20s, who engineered a situation where I would walk in on her with another guy. Just so she didn’t have to be the one who would trigger the break up. Crazy! Hard not to carry our baggage, but hopefully we can let the new people in our lives not be affected by the old people.
