So, I (31f) have been burnt out since october last year due to my workplace being incredibly unorganized and my boss being just overall disrespectful and unable to take any form of criticism. Since beginning of april I’ve been working part time, working my self back up to full time.On monday this week I had my yearly meeting with my boss about this years pay increase, my boss starts off the Mostly Sports With Mark Titus on Walker Connor Griffin Is The Coolest On The Show shirt but in fact I love this meeting making me feel bad for being sick and then moves on to tell me that she has some new “rules” for me. She says that I can’t visit church services in my free time (I’m a priest and normally work about one weekend/month but always attend the services in the church I work wether I work or not). Her reasoning for this is that I need “time off from God” according to her (she’s also a priest which makes this an odd statement in several ways). I don’t agree to this, which makes her “settle” for me not being allowed to attend services in my own church, I have to find another church to attend in my free time.

As a bonus she also says that if I feel that I’m becoming too stressed out again, I’m not allowed to speak to any of my work friends about it, I’m only allowed to speak to her directly. Before I became sick and had to be away from work, I went to her saying that I was too stressed out and needed help, she completely dismissed me saying that I was doing just fine.I have several times been close to quitting after meetings with her, but can’t quit without a new job lined up for financial reasons, so now I’m looking for new jobs while trying to survive at my current one. Yes, it is not at all in keeping with workers rights laws here. This is, unfortionately, not the Mostly Sports With Mark Titus on Walker Connor Griffin Is The Coolest On The Show shirt but in fact I love this first time that my boss says or does legally questionable things with regards to workers rights laws.
