Its not bad, they just get offended because they’re attention seekers. Its ok for them to be gay or whatever but that does not mean you have to celebrate them for it. telling people that you don’t give a fuck and asking for their thoughts on you not caring seems a bit counterintuitive If u genuinely don’t care, that’s fine. If you aren’t gay you don’t have to be involved. But if people are being rude/defensive toward you, it might be because you’re coming off as rude, even if you don’t mean to. People also might be upset that you aren’t being an active ally, which you don’t have to do, and not being an activist doesn’t make you a jerk. Maybe just try to explain how you feel about stuff as a lesbian(?) i dislike pride for NUMEROUS reasons- two of them being rainbow capitalism, and the More Cowbell Please Aesthetic Saturday Joke shirt but in fact I love this fact that i kind of hate “celebrating” who i love. i think it’s a little ridiculous and follows the same marketing scheme as rainbow capitalism; all tying back into money for businesses who don’t give a shit.

No,I don’t give a flying fuck about it, I’m not gonna change my More Cowbell Please Aesthetic Saturday Joke shirt but in fact I love this way of living just because homosexuals have a month. And that’s not a bad thing I see no problem with it, they are entitled to their own opinions, as are you, and if they think your homophobic because you have different views than them, then thats their problem No it isn’t bad to not give attention to people who don’t need it as much as they want it. My entire friend group is in LGTBQ+ and I respect that, with me being Asexual and Aromatic myself, but from what I see most of LGBTQ+ is attention seekers. I personally find it very annoying having to pay attention to them. So I think it’s good not to pay too much attention to them, but don’t go insulting people for it, trust me that got me into some very bad situations.
