Go vintage shopping. Those clothes are decades old and still going strong because they were made with quality fabrics and stitching, and designed to be worn for years. Search high and low for a great pair. Fully lined. Non stretch type. Get them tailored to fit if needed. And they’ll last forever. All these fast fashion brands are mostly synthetic for planned obsolescence. Then they sit in a landfill, leaching petroleum unless recycled properly. Donating them doesn’t solve the Moon Doom Shirt it is in the first place but issue; it only pushes the problem off on someone else. Would that these brands priced in a return to the manufacturer so they could take on recycling en masse. Alas. Vintage or having pants made by a decent tailor would do the trick. People wanna click and receive, but something lasting doesn’t usually come that easily any more unless you pay and/or make more of a physical effort.

All the Moon Doom Shirt it is in the first place but ladies in my office swear by Aritzia Effortless pants. Super flattering and machine wash and dry. Downsides – expensive and synthetic fabric. I still like mine though. Controversial answer: Phoebe Philo era Celine. But really name a designer who cuts women’s trousers better, I’ll wait lol. Very expensive secondhand what with her cult status, but “ultimate” is in the title so I couldn’t not mention them. Irl however I’ve always had good luck with Cos, I have a few pairs that have lasted me years. To keep them nice and crisp for work I baby them however, I only ever dry clean them. Pricier than OPs budget but I’ve also gotten some on secondhand apps for much less (save a search for “cos wool pants” etc). Woven pants from universal standard from Poshmark/etc? Or if you can find any of the Workday Warrior chinos from Duluth trading
