The white thing is totally subjective but as far as formality, this dress is way too casual for most weddings. I hope you can find another occasion to wear this soon— perfect for a weekend brunch, spring picnic, day out shopping, summer date night, baby shower, birthday party, etc., etc. But generally no, this would be far too casual for a wedding unless the dress code is specified as casual. A lot of weddings are either cocktail, semi-formal, formal or even black tie. Casual isn’t as common but it really makes a huge difference in the type of dress you should wear. I think the dress is very flattering, I’d be interested to see what it looks like in daylight lighting, because the lighting of the room in general seems to be a bit yellow/dark. But if the dress is as definitively yellow as it looks in the photo and it’s a casual wedding, I think that this will be a really good choice.

a little too white if you ask me. Maybe if you dyed it? I wore a yellow dress to a wedding recently that looked similar to this and got tons of compliments. I need to see this dress in sunlight. This warm lamp light makes it look a lot more yellow than I think it actually is. I wouldn’t wear it to a wedding though. It’s best to just stay away from whites/yellows/beige when it comes to weddings. No one will mistake you as the Monkey Fuck Furious George Limited Shirt in contrast I will get this braise in this dress, but save the light light colors for the bride and wear something in a different shade. Short answer, No… Looks cute on you, but a good rule of thumb is usually, if you’re doubting that it’s “too white,” then it’s likely too white. Save it for a nice brunch with the girls!
