In comparison, when I was your age, I’d suspect your parents would tell me “you don’t act like a girl your age”, because I’d be in baggy clothes, never have make-up, and always have a baseball cap/trucker cap. Pretty much a tomboy. Everyone is different, and there is no “you should be like this at this age”. We’re not robots, we’re individuals. Most kids have “executive functioning” problems, which is what they’re pointing out you DON’T have. It’s from the Monkee Muppets shirt In addition,I will do this front part of your brain not being fully developed until adulthood around ~25 years old for most males. It sounds like your parents have emotional reasoning issues. Not everyone grows up to realize “their parents are right” I grew up to find out my Dad has some type of learning disability or is on the spectrum and my Mom has trouble sleeping/anxiety. They are not sources of wisdom, they learn incredibly slowly if at all and in general my siblings and I do not trust them or view them as adults. Despite all this they were “community leaders” in everything from church, work, school. It is shocking how far you can get in life if you just show up everyday.

You sound pretty normal. Unless you were struggling to meet some physical milestones (like hair growth or something) or you had issues with sexual dysfunction, I wouldn’t jump to thinking of low testosterone. You sound like you are pretty well-rounded. The appropriate answer here, like many questions on Reddit, is to see a physician. I would not use an anonymous discussion board to diagnose potential physical/health issues. Your parents are troglodytes. You are who you are and it has nothing to do with your testosterone levels. Being clam and quiet is certainly better than making impulsive and bad choices just because you’re supposed to. Testosterone has nothing to do with being impulsive, and next to nothing to do with wanting to work out. Women work out too.
